Therapy tailored to your needs.
We are a private psychotherapy practice.
My private practice is located within a shared practice together with three colleagues. I treat privately insured patients, those eligible for Beihilfe, and self-paying clients. Private health insurance and Beihilfe may cover the costs in full or in part, depending on your individual insurance contract. I am happy to provide information about the process and to support you with the necessary steps.
In-person or online sessions
Unable to attend in person? No problem. In addition to in-person sessions, I offer online psychotherapy from the comfort of your home. The costs are often covered by private health insurance at the same rate as in-person sessions. Coverage depends on your individual insurance plan.
Psychotherapy without a waiting list
Mental health problems often develop gradually and can slowly become part of everyday life. When they start to feel truly burdensome, timely support is crucial. That is why I offer psychotherapy without long waiting times and will get back to you within two working days at the latest.
Therapy begins with a thorough and precise assessment of your current situation. Starting from here, we develop a structured treatment plan based on the latest scientific evidence in cognitive behavioral therapy.
Process
First Session
This session takes place in person at the practice. During the initial session, we get to know each other, discuss your concerns, and clarify any initial questions. The aim is to develop a shared understanding of your situation, which forms the basis for the further therapeutic process.
50 Min. | 1 Sitzung | Book your first Session
Probationary phase
These sessions are intended to build trust and to determine how we can work together most effectively. We discuss your goals, expectations, and possible therapeutic approaches. During this phase, your personal history is explored, an initial diagnostic assessment is conducted, and first diagnostic findings are discussed. The aim is to establish a clear and individualized foundation for your treatment plan.
50 Min. | 2-5 Sessions
One-to-one psychotherapy
In individual therapy, we identify and modify distressing patterns of thought and behavior and develop strategies that support you sustainably in everyday life. In this way, you strengthen your personal resources, gain clarity, and experience lasting change.
50 Min. | Number of sessions is individualized; sessions are typically held once per week.
Coaching
In coaching, we focus on specific challenges. Coaching is not about the treatment of mental disorders, but about defining clear goals, gaining new perspectives, and receiving support in implementing concrete steps for change. Together, we develop practical tools and strategies designed to meet your needs. The aim is to strengthen self-confidence and create solutions tailored to your individual concerns. In a professional context, coaching costs may be tax-deductible (e.g. as work-related expenses or professional development), depending on individual circumstances.
50 Min. | The number of sessions depends on individual needs.
Group therapy
Group psychotherapy is an effective psychotherapeutic treatment with a clear structure and professional guidance. Within the shared process, emotional, interpersonal, and cognitive patterns can be addressed. The group provides a stable and supportive setting for exchange, learning, and feedback.
100 Min. | The number of sessions depends on individual needs.
Duration & Format
The duration of therapy depends on the type and severity of the psychological symptoms as well as on individual treatment progress. In general, the following treatment formats are distinguished:
Short-term therapy consists of 12 sessions and may be extended to up to 24 sessions.
Long-term therapy: In cases of more complex or severe mental health conditions, therapy may include up to 60 sessions. In certain cases, up to 80 sessions may be possible.
Session frequency varies according to individual needs and may take place weekly or at longer intervals. The exact number and frequency of sessions are determined individually and coordinated with your insurance provider.
Check your insurance policy.
Mostly, private health insurance providers cover the costs of psychotherapy in full or in part. Please review your insurance policy in advance and, if necessary, contact your insurance provider directly to clarify which services are covered and which billing arrangements apply.
